Our Process

We follow the simple process of understanding our client's requirements followed by a strategic planning and quality execution. Our representatives meet the clients and visit the work site in order to take a better idea of the clients' requirements and evaluate the site. The back end teams which comprises of highly skilled engineers, architects and interior designers, make a 2D as well as 3D layout of the site according to the clients' requirement. The on-site in charge ensures smooth and quality execution of the project in the given time frame with proper quality checks.

In the first phase

  • Sketch Design

When you are in contact you set out your design brief and the budget and desired time scale. You supply a site inventory, title deed & other necessary information. Octav Studio studies the proposed brief, inspects the premises & makes any observations. We enabling you to settle on your choice.

  • Preliminary Design

Octav Studio checks that the drawn sketch matches the requirements of yours. We provide you plan & isometric design drawings, provisional estimates of projected cost of the work & potential specification with a schedule for completion of work. You examine the specifications proposed in the preliminary design & checks that they comply with their functional & financial requirements and notify Octav Studio in writing of any observations.

  • Final designs

Verification that the regulations are complied with the proposed designs including all necessary indications for the brief to be fully understood.

  • Master Design Documents

Once any planning permission or Administrative approval is obtained. General Representative Detail for execution of works are the responsibility of the company.

In the second phase

Proposal of procedures for procurements, list of contract documents. Drafting of general & special conditions of contract making up the financial documents. You approve the financial bid & supplies it to the company under procurement. Assistance with bid section & materials suggested. Consideration of bids & drafting of reports for availability of materials & manpower. Refinement of the chosen bid by trade or section of works. Assistance with signing of agreements.

In third phase

Starting of work on site. Organisation of site meetings, drafting & circulation of progress reports, updating you on progress of works, checking on progress of works & compliance with contract documents. Checking contract itemisations, then drawing up the payment proposals.

Assistance provided to you with signing of works

Any observations regarding defect noted in the handover report & remedial work done immediately on site. Final itemisation completed work & proposal for settlement of remaining balance. The work is complete in accordance with the contract. Custody of the project is transferred to you.
